I have a question. When you transport the snap labe do you really
remove the paper? The isntructions say to do so.

I haven't- you just wanted to keep it away from excessive moisture.
The ink doesn't run so it really is ok to leave it in.

If you do transport it with the paper in, I would make sure that all of the trimmings have been emptied. Unfortunately I did not one time and the trimmings fell back into the rollers and gears and the printer stopped working. A very long set of needlenose pliers finally removed all and it worked fine after that.
