I have been having a lot of issues with the software.
I was wondering if there's any updates to this software.
I currently have V1.4.

Also,
Can someone guide me with the installation.
I own a HP touchsmart and the internal webcam
does not work with the program. i dont know if im
doing anything wrong.
Are there any specific steps?

You can not use the internal webcam with this software.  You actually have to disable the internal camera to use an external webcam with this software.  Some people have experienced system lockup after an extended period of use at an event.  This requires shutting the system and restarting.  There are many choices of photo booth software available today.  These are all supported with technical support.  Of course they range in cost from under a $100 to over $1K.

If you want to stay with a webcam system then I would suggest www.sparkbooth.com.  The cost is only $59 and the support is great.  It is easy set up and use.

There is a FB group that most of us have moved to that you maybe interested in looking at.

I hope this helps.

I have tried an external webcam and even a dslr and nothing.
I would really like to make it work with the T2i.
Can this be possible?

The Tofurious Photo Booth only supports web cam.  You have to disable the internal web cam to get it to recognize the external web cam.  There were some support documents that were available when the software was first made available.  I know free software is appealing but having no support and no updates are big negatives.
