We do not know for sure what the original software was written in.  We were unable to obtain the original source code. 

 

Intially we were writing our own software and that turned into a whole big mess.  So we decided to move on and spend our resources on a software that would be supported and updated.  The photoboof software is available at a very reasonable cost for a limited time. 

 

The program I was working with was written in Visual Basic 6.  One of the problems we had is it is an older language and we couldn't get our hands on a complier.  We haven't given up on it, but it does need work.
