TheJoint Office of Energy and Transportation was created through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL) to facilitate collaboration between the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Department of Transportation. The Joint Office will align resources and expertise across the two departments toward leveraged outcomes. The office will be a critical component in the implementation of the BIL, providing support and expertise to a multitude of programs that seek to deploy a network of electric vehicle chargers, zero-emission fueling infrastructure, and zero-emission transit and school buses. This is a two step/phase verification. You must provide your mobile number to Google for them to send you a SMS text message to your mobile phone in order for you to authenticate on the system. Either the number on your account is incorrect or the phone number does not accept SMS messages. You can set this up on multiple social sites such as Facebook, Intstagram, LinkedIn, etc. Which is a good idea to keep your accounts your own.

I gave Google my mobile number, and let turned on 2FA with it. It does not send the confirmation texts though. I also tried using Google Auth. I got it to prompt me for the auth code from Google Auth, when signing in to gmail on the desktop computer web browser. That confirms that it was 2FA was successfully turned on. When I try to save the file to the remote drive, LibreOffice says the drive is invalid. LibreOffice 6.2.8.2-2.fc30 on Linux

Just checking if this is still a problem? I cannot get the Google Drive connection to work as at May 2021, Libreoffice 7.1.2.2 (x64) on Windows 10. Am I doing something wrong, or just wasting my time trying?

@sberg Many thanks for the post. Have tried to answer this many times since it always worked for me but others seemed to continue with problems. Good to know where the problem is and that there is a fix coming.

Alternatively any installed programs can be moved to another drive by creating a junction. Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run the commands below. The directories are for 64-bit Windows, change them as needed.

I have experience with several customers on both Google Apps and Office 365, as well as migrations from Google to O365, including that of our own company. I can tell you with 100% certainty you are in for a massive downgrade when it comes to file sharing but, I have a few points which can help you.

So if your users want to use SharePoint using a Windows Explorer type interface, their only option is the Open With Explorer feature or mapping a drive directly to the SPO library. This works technically, but not seamlessly. We have consistent issues with both methods, I can into further detail if you wish.

I do not use this stuff for the file transfer and these days I am also not considering the FTP server for the file transfer because we are using a Synaman for the file transfer these days because it is too simple and of course very easy to use so it is quite much comfortable for a lay man. Moreover it is completely web based you do not need any extra plugin or something for this and the best part is that you can manage the space by yourself.

I got an email that says "Google files in Dropbox will be replaced with shortcuts to documents in Google Drive" and "If you do not wish to move your Google files to your Google account, they will be automatically converted to Microsoft files." I'm not sure which option to choose. I mostly use Dropbox to store Word files, most of which were originally created using Microsoft Word but since I usually use Dropbox in a web browser, I've been opening them and creating them using Google docs for years now. Which option is least likely to result in reformatting issues? Which will be easiest to use going forward if I'm mostly just editing and creating text documents?

What will happen when this migration takes place, is that your Google files will become .web files in Dropbox that point to the same file in Google Drive, so you can edit and share the file through Google directly.
