The in-game world time it takes to collect the badges and become the champion is obviously a lot longer than the time it takes to beat the game. I think one of the anime episodes briefly mentioned that their journey was at least "a few months" so we at least know that it's not something a person does over several weeks or years.

Anime also leads us to my second hypothesis: If we look at when the series started airing in Japan and US (April 1st and September 8th respectively), we can see that it began at around the time when a new school year starts, so maybe the journey is also supposed to last the same amount of time, around 9-10 months.

Alexander was a fairly normal guy on earth or at least he hoped so. Somehow though he had gone his entire life without playing a single pokemon game or watching any of the anime. That changed when his friends kept pestering him about it and he finally gave in and purchased a few of the games that came highly recommended such as emerald , fire red , platinum and heart gold. He also bought a cheap ds lite to play all of them when he was off work. Unfortunately he was struck by lightning the moment he finished the last of them and died. He ended up awakening in a small cave at the foot of a mountain forest and learned he had a system to help him in this new and very dangerous world.

AUTHOR Note-------
This story will only be taking place in the world before the fairy type came out so only those regions exist in this version of the pokemon world. There may also maybe possibly an actual romantic option but I haven't decided yet , also no harems.I would like to add that everything with the system is RNG based so I have no control over it.

That's the worst part. Once other people are introduced, the MC becomes a total misanthrope, but we don't see the MC connecting with his pokemon as an alternative. The author keeps introducing new humans that we know the MC is going to hate and blow off like actual NPCs. This is turning into an incredibly boring walkthrough of a hacked version of Pokemon R/S.

Entertainment to be seen at a distance. After turning fifteen, she watched as young people her age got ready for their first journey across Sinnoh, all aiming to become the Champion. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are fantastic looking games and have a great foundation. The idea that I can go wherever I want, whenever I want, is something that has never been present in the world of Pokemon. The way the game is structured is that your character has just moved into the Paldea region and will be attending school at the local academy. The biggest difference between Scarlet and Violet is that depending on which game you play, you will either be attending Naranja Academy (Scarlet), or Uva Academy (Violet). As a new student, the Director of the academy, Director Clavell, comes to your home to deliver your first pokemon.

The reason Nemona, Arvin, and Team Star are all introduced consecutively is because the game wants the player to understand the three main stories of the game. On this journey, the player can go wherever they want, whenever they want. One time skip later and the treasure hunt begins.

Path of Legends: This story involves investigating the phenomenon of titan pokemon. These are pokemon who, through specific circumstances, ended up growing to be unnaturally huge. The goal is to defeat these pokemon and obtain the various Herba Mystica, special herbs that grant specific properties when consumed, for Arvin to create different types of sandwiches. There is a little more to it as far as the story goes, but I will not be giving any spoilers. All I will say is that as a result of this story Arvin becomes a very interesting character who undergoes a great amount of development.

Overall, these are some incredible games. I get that there are performance issues and some players may not like the dramatic changes these games have made. However, I was in awe of the options during my journey. It was unimaginably fun comparing the path I took with my friends and describing what exciting events we encountered. If you are someone who is interested in an interesting open world experience, or loves Pokemon, I honestly recommend picking up these games. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available for Nintendo Switch consoles for 60$.

Ash would be 36 years old in Pokémon if he aged alongside the real world, but there's no reason to assume time is passing at the same rate as reality for Ash. The simplest way to estimate Ash's age would be to count up the number of episodes. Most episodes of Pokémon take place over a single day, so equating one episode to one day would mean 1,232 days have passed from the beginning of his journey to the end, or 3 years and 137 days, making Ash between 13 and 14 years old. That seems like a pretty reasonable period of time, if a bit short. That's a very rough number, though, and doesn't account for episodes that take place over a longer period of time, or episodes from a story arc that all take place on the same day.
