Dear Professor Gumbert,

My name is Can Yavuz and i graduated from University of California. During my university education i was one of your students and i took the English History class from you. I am a graduate right now but i would like to continue my education life, i would to make an application for master. For this application i need referance letter and i would like a referance letter from you , dear professor. Please inform me about this subject.With best regardsï¿½

Dear Mr Yavuz

Principally I don't write reference letters to my students except they don't achieve a real success. And also I would like to make one thing clear , generally a reference letter can be asked from a professor who taught you at least three classes, and in each of these classes you need to be very active. Finally, I barely remember your name so I'm sorry I can not write you a reference letter. I wish you success in your educational life.
