Dear all,
I am pleased to announce that France’s open-source contribution policy has been finally approved and published. A quick translation is also available in English:

A blog is available in French here: https://www.etalab.gouv.fr/publication-de-la-politique-de-contribution-de-letat-aux-logiciels-libres

This release has been possible thanks to all our work on the open-source contribution policy template. I would like to thank you all again for our joint effort and I hope that the momentum in the public sector will continue, both in central and local governments. I believe this will be an ongoing subject for the OGP organization and maybe some of you will attend the OGP summit in Tbilisi in July. I am also sure that the Canadian government will continue the work on digital commons and I expect a lot from the coming months.
If you agree, I would like to maintain this mailing list to keep you posted with upcoming work within the OGP organization on open-source and let you know about future opportunities and coming workshops. Please let me know if you like to be removed from this mailing list.
Last but not least, we discussed the possibility to transfer the repository of the open-source contribution policy template to the TODO group. Please let me know if you have any objection, otherwise it will be a much more comfortable place for future work on the subject (if they accept).
All the best,
Laurent
