I did not PURCHASE a definite course as such and I'm glad I didn't. Most of us state-board students might feel uncomfortable going without a prescribed syllabus but it's alright. I already knew HTML/CSS from school and could do basic frontend so I chose React inhesitantly. It was not the same when it came to backend, I wasn't aware of a single technology which I would be comfortable with. That's when I came across of Python & django owning the internet. So I took a free course by Mosh Hamedani form youtube. I did learn Django but didn't feel quiet positive about it; guess what, I dropped my idea of learning backend. I decided to stick with frontend for a while, learned Sass and built some beautiful sites. Here's when I again realized the need of learning JavaScript for DOM Manipulation. During all these few months I was trying to find some path to follow on the internet and eventually started looking for pre-designed courses (preferably free) and I found The Odin Project.
