I would like the player to be able to play the videos I have
downloaded from the itunes store. The existing apps out there that
attempt to do a "child-proofed" video player make you load your own
DRM free videos via iTunes connect or the data feature.

I just want to be able to select the video from the ones on the iphone
and once it's playing it should not respond to any touches except for
a very specific gesture or something like touchng the 4 corners
simultaneously.

It would be nice to auto re-enable the selection controls when a video
ends but even better would be the ability to do playlists and have the
ability to loop or shuffle the playlist.

So I've done exactly what you requested. There will be full access to
the videos in your iTunes library. You will also have playlists or
queues.

I have a small button that is at the top right that needs to be held
down for a certain amount of time (you can set the time in settings),
then it pops up the controls at the bottom and you can choose to
pause, play, rewind, ffwd, scrub, or exit.

This version will be out on the 24th.

I will be adding features very frequently. Most likely every two weeks
or more if possible. It all depends on what features are requested.

It's called KidVid. Very handy.
