Does it work with 1.7.x

Hi ,

Just a quick question to save me some grief. Does toCollege.net work
with GWT 1.7.1? How much work is required? I also want to use it with
incubator widgets and possibly GWT 2.0.

Any thoughts?

Hi Jaga,
I haven't had the time to update to 1.7 yet. I'd love to, but as I
mentioned I haven't been doing much GWT lately. The main pain point of
upgrading will be the way I modified the Serialization code to clean
out Hibernate objects. That's a fragile point of failure and I'd
probably recommend looking at Gilead instead, since that seems to be
how most people are solving that problem today.

Ok, I'll take a look. I hope it is an easy swap for Hibernate!

Jaga,
You've probably already discovered this, but Gilead isn't a
replacement for Hibernate, it's just another approach to the GWT
serialization requirements.
