HI
I am new to Tock and wondering which development board is recommended nowadays? TockOS hardware page mentions imix and hail but either one of them are available to purchase. Does this mean nRF52DK is the only viable option?

Thanks

Hi Yu-Chieh,

A variety of the nRF52840 or nRF52832 dev kit is probably the best option right now. We sold Hail for the last couple years, but finally ran out of stock a month ago and it doesn't seem likely that it will be for sale again at least anytime soon. I'm unsure of the status of Imix.

We have been actively discussing the issue of a recommended dev board https://github.com/tock/tock/issues/994 and the Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense and Feather nRF52840 Sense seem to be likely targets to support in the near future, but are not yet supported in Tock. If you have suggestions or desired features for a recommended board, definitely comment on that issue.

Thanks

There is some imix stock left, but due to the stay at home order in New York/New Jersey, most of them are quarantined in my office ~100mi away from me. If you're interested in the near future, please e-mail me directly and I'll be happy to scrounge together the few that I have on hand.
