Can someone recommend an easy capsule/crate to model for a simple interrupt? The interrupt is intended to alert a user application to read a series of memory mapped registers.

Do you want to virtualize the service (allow multiple applications to handle the interrupt)?

capsules/src/gpio.rs is probably a good place to start.
