Dear Toboggan Times,
I think we need more Data and certainly more Toboggan Theories upon which to ponder.
For example:
  • Is it better to have the weight in the front or the back?
  • Is it better for the team to throw themselves forward at the start (the Dynamic Start) or just sit there ( the Passive Start) hoping not to "rock the boat"?
  • Is it better to wax or to wane?
  • Do competitors who have partaken of the Chili tasting go faster on Sundays than Saturdays?
  • Should competitors intentionally roll their toboggans at the finish to protect their bottoms?
  • Are unprotected bottoms a problem?
No other national sport is so lacking in basic information.  We need more input from other inquisitive minds.
