Greetings, all-
I just discovered this group... I've just developed an interest in tobogans, perhaps a rekindling from my childhood when I went to a place called Strawberry Ridge- in Northern California- and remember riding a toboggan... my only life experience with one... but it must have been a favorable experience, even though I distinctly remember running into the shallow creek (2-3" deep- just enough to soak one's self!) just at the end of the run. Couldn't have done the run more than once or twice!
Now I'm an old retired guy... lots of woodworking experience, and building one sounds like fun... or more than one.
So here I am, trying to learn all I can about the things... and found my way to this group. Is anybody here? Is this still alive?? I see I just missed the National's last weekend... dang it!!
