TMCP meeting: Theme Armed Forces 26 Jan 2019: PLEASE NOTE: Dress Code for guests + members!

Dear friends,

Hi! Armed Forces play an important part in our lives. We can rest peacefully because our soldiers are serving the nation on our borders.

TMCP wishes to salute this spirit of servitude by having a theme called "Armed Forces" for our 518th meeting to be held this Saturday 26 Jan 2019

What's more, all the prepared speech speakers would also salute the soldiers by giving speeches about the theme.

The Table Topics will of course be about the theme so would be the Word of the Day and the Phrase of the Day.

TMCP meetings always have a dress code which is formal attire. (No Jeans / T-Shirts / Capri / Bermuda / Chino / Sandals / Chappals / Slippers etc
in short, NO CASUAL ATTIRE)

But this time, we request you to take it further.
We request the gentlemen to have the following attire.
Suit, Pressed Pants, Pressed formal shirt, Tight socks, Laced Shoes, a Nice tie & a CLEAN SHAVE !!

If you have a tie / cap / hat associated with Armed Forces, please wear that!

The ladies can avoid T-shirt / Jeans etc as above and wear, if possible, attire that Army women wear-- shirt and pant.

Assume for a day that you ARE in the Army and play along with the theme.

We will of course be having lot of posters, songs, and other things to add impact to the theme.

The Working Agenda is enclosed! We will have a special agenda for this meeting!

Pl carry enough cash with you as we intend to auction the posters made specially for this meeting at the end and raise money for donating to a special cause related to the theme. More details when we meet!

The timings remain the same,

26 Jan 2019 Saturday , i.e. Republic Day of our Motherland!

4.30 pm Tea & Fellowship. Role players MUST be present by this time.

5 pm to 7.25 pm : Meeting # 518

7.30 to 8 pm Snacks and tea sponsored by those who walk in late, violate the dress code or who/whose phones/gadgets make any noise!
