Toastmasters join hands with IPL: NEW VENUE Saturday 7th May 2016

Dear friends,

Hi! IPL 9 is going on all over the country. How can Toastmasters be left behind?

We have a fantastic meeting planned for you tomorrow

Saturday 7th May 2016 on occasion of 375th Milestone meeting of Toastmasters Club of Pune.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN VENUE FOR TOMORROW:

The venue for tomorrow is

The timings and broad agenda would be as follows:

4.30 pm: Registration, Informal chitchat and networking. Tea for the early birds

5.00 pm Meeting commences (SAA explains rules, President's Opening Address, Master of Ceremony assumes responsibility)

5.20 to 6.10 pm Five Prepared Speeches on various topics connected with Cricket/IPL

6.10 pm to 6.15 pm Biobreak

6.15 pm 6.38 pm Speech Evaluations

6.38 pm to 6.59 pm Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking)

7 pm to 7.15 pm Feedback from Language Evaluator /Ah Counter / General Evaluator

7.15 to 7.20 pm Quiz for active listeners

7.20 pm to 7.30 pm Awards Ceremony & feedback from guests

The meeting would be followed by

7.30 pm to 8.30 pm: Celebrations for 375th milestone meeting with networking & Heavy Snacks

The rules for our meetings remain:
Dress Code:
Formals/Semi-formals.  OR Cricketing attire except for the things mentioned below.
Note: Bermudas, Jeans, Capri, Chinos, Slippers, Sandals, and other casual wear are NOT ALLOWED.
Which means you could wear formal wear as usual in our meetings OR wear cricketing attire which players wear on the match-field.
{Cricketers might be wearing bermuda while practising, but that is not allowed! The only 2 exceptions from our usual meeting are T-shirt, if it happens to be of Cricket (e.g. IPL team jersey) and sports shoes.}
Pl feel free to wear the jersey of your favorite cricket team!
But remember that you are entering a formal set up of a bank building!

Please remember to bring your manuals to the meeting. (Both Communication and Leadership) This will help in getting your projects/roles evaluated and will put you on the track towards becoming a Competent Communicator or Competent Leader.
