3 of the Ocampo six have just been presented before the pre trial chamber to listen to the charges against them and confirm they have been informed of the same. All Ruto could say in response was that the charges seem to him like they should be in a movie. Yaani the arrogance persists even before the eyes of the world.! I wish they could all be detained just to teach them a lesson on humility

im just wondering why nobody seems concerned that the people purporting to be the next leaders of this country are all tainted with alleged scandals , crimes against humanity , are the subject of various criminal investigations etc. Is there really no one else who can be a beacon of hope for leadership of this country? or should we all just move to Uganda ?

I thought principles of natural justice require presumption of innocence until guilt is proved beyond reasonable doubt ? i  think as much as we all have reservations concerning the ICC process or ideas as to how they should be treated , we need to refocus attention back to building this country. I agree with you t hat there is a leadership vacuum in terms of inspirational and progressive agendas for Kenya.

The problem with choosing good leadership is that those with
qualifications dont really care about national issues. The middle
class is actually the biggest problem we have in this country. We are
all just concerned about ourselves and as long as we can have our
drink and nyama choma at the weekend then to hell with everyone. How
do u deal with that ?

@ Kenyamoja , you deal with it by stepping up to the plate . If you
know your qualified why don’t you offer yourself up for consideration as a
leader? How many of us ( myself included) complain about our leadership yet
when the opportunity comes to engage and fill a vaccum we are silent and ten
turn around and complain when unfit persons are chosen to lead us? We need
to get out of our comfort zones and walk the talk ..enuff said!!!
