Talk to the doctor that did the procedure, often it can be corrected,
he shouldn't need to wear glasses for distance or driving. About the
only time I wear readers is when shopping to read the labels on meats
(small print) and I wear readers for newsgroups because the font is
small and I'm sitting close to the monitor. But when I look outside
or for driving I don't wear glases... road signs are now very easy to
read with no glasses... I don't wear the readers for watching TV
either. I have a neck strap for the readers but need to remember to
take the readers down when not needed. It's very rare that I need the
readers, about the only time I use them is when shopping as the price
lables are small. I have them hanging on my neck, no biggie. The
readers cost 99¢ at the dollar store, I have 6 pair so I never need to
search for them... the straps to hang them on your neck cost more.
