When creating mail filter, it would be nice if we had a date option.
Use case:
User receives mails from some mailing list daily. The information
contained in mails gets outdated after some time. User wants to
archive mails from that list which are older than a month.
For instance, I'm a QA person and i get log mails from the application
i'm testing. One day i found out that i had ~25,000 mails and i
couldn't open the account in Firefox.

I don't know about a relative date (age) option but you may specify
absolute values in search: use "after:yyyy/mm/dd before:yyyy/mm/dd"
As for filters: you can use any search terms in "Has the words:"
clause.
