Hi All,

For those of you on the Tahoe team, you don't have to listen to my outside voice any more. Also, I can't believe they ended the victory party before 10:00 pm. I was just about to get on the dance floor.

I hope you now know why it's called America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride. Emerald Bay, Spooner, etc. Those are some great views. If you're on the STP team and couldn't make it, maybe next year. But you'll have your event in a couple of weeks.

You completed the ride in great weather, looked good at the Victory Party, hopefully had fun and most importantly raised a ton of money. We make no secret this is a fundraising program. I'm proud of each and every one of you. I don't know if I rode with all of you out there. At least I was able to touch base with all of your coaches. No big complaints from them. Instead a lot of compliments. The only complaint was it being too hot on Spooner.

Now that you've completed the ride, what should you do? The first thing you should do is rest. If you're still tired, don't ride. Instead, try to do other things until you're ready to ride again. Take a yoga class. Go for an easy hike. Of course don't forget to hydrate. Once you're ready to ride again, get together with your teammates for rides. There are several century rides (both metric and full) in the Bay Area. If you're ready, do the Tour De Cure this Sunday 6/10 in Palo Alto. See http://tour.diabetes.org/site/TR?pg=entry&fr_id=4406 for details.

If you'd like a photo CD of the season, please contact Web Captain Vijay at tntwe...@gmail.com. He is charging $15 which will go towards his fundraising.

I would love for all of you to continue with the program in some capacity. You can apply to be a mentor for Fall. Better yet, join the Fall season as a participant for El Tour De Tucson on November 17th. Contact Courtney or myself for details.

Thanks for rocking and rolling in Tahoe and all season.
