Saturday 5/26 buddy ride and 6/30 STP team ride

Hi Team,

 

1. In case you were unable to attend the send-off party last night, here's the details of the buddy ride for this Saturday May 26th. The start location will be at Sharon Heights Shopping Center in Menlo Park. For mapquest purposes, the address is 325 Sharon Park Drive, Menlo Park, 94025. Please park legally and away from the businesses. Get there early to get ready as the ride will roll at 8:30 am. Tahoe people will ride 30 miles and STP riders will ride 50/60 miles. Listen to your body. If your event is STP, you're riding Tahoe next week and you feel a bit tired, just ride the 30 mile route.

 

2. For those of you riding Seattle to Portland, the scheduled team ride for Saturday 6/30 has been cancelled. Instead, the coaches recommend that you sign up for the Giro Di Peninsula bike ride in San Mateo. Their website is http://www.festafoundation.org/giro.html. Unfortunately TNT is unable to cover the registration fee. This will be a great opportunity for you to experience another organized ride with route sheets, marked course and rest stops.
