Hi everyone,

I've a few quick questions that I'll post separately. Here's the
first:

1.) How do I root my analyses by multiple (more than one outgroup)
taxa in TNT?

E.g. in PAUP* the command would be "outgroup 1-3"

I know how to select one (only) outgroup from the TNT GUI but it
appears I cannot select more than one at the same time.

Dear Ross,

TNT does not allow using multiple outgroups.  If you want the trees rooted in a specific way, you have to do it yourself; this can also be done by means of scripts. Note that, unless you are using asymmetric step characters, tree rooting does not affect the results or which trees are chosen --it's just a matter of how the results are presented, graphically.

Best regards,
