If so, I encourage you to attend Family Re-Union: Families and Food
Security, to be held next Wednesday October 29th from 9:30am to 3:15pm
at the Nashville Public Library. This event is an opportunity to
learn from local experts about food (in)access in Nashville and hear
from national speakers how communities across the country have
mobilized to promote a more healthy, just, and sustainable food
system. During facilitated afternoon breakout sessions participants
we will create strategies for bringing healthier foods to schools and
neighborhoods here in Middle Tennessee.
The conference is free but pre-registration is required. Lunch
featuring locally-grown food will be served. You can register at
http://www.familyreunion.org/FR_14/2008Conference.html or by following
the link schedule below.
Also, this conference will be most successful if we have great
participation from the community-- please consider forwarding this
message to your friends and colleagues!
Thanks, Cassi
