I'm trying to launch Registry Editor (regedit) but got the following
message: "Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator".
What does it mean? My PC is not connected to any LAN. I have just dial-up
connection to Internet. How can I get rid of this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Possibly worth looking at properties of Network (under Settings; Control
Panel) and making sure that the Access Control level ticked is "Share-level
acces control" and does not have someething specific indicated uner "User
level access control". If you setting IS OK there may be some hep on the
Microsoft Knowledge Pages
accessible from IE5 by HELP; On-Line Support.
