NSTA will be in Kansas City, Missouri on September 12 and 13, 2009
(Saturday and Sunday). The 20th Annual NSTA Symposium will be held at
the Embassy Suites Hotel. This is a great opportunity to hear movement
disorder specialists discuss various topics about spasmodic
torticollis. You will have an opportunity to ask them questions
directly.
We organize the symposium to be informative, interactive, and
supportive. If you live relatively close to Kansas City, Missouri,
take a road trip with family or friends. The hotel has complimentary
parking. The Embassy Suites Kansas City Hotel on Tiffany Springs
Parkway is located close to the Kansas City, MO International Airport.
A shuttle bus from the airport is available for people flying in.
In addition to learning, participants are in an environment where they
can socialize and enjoy the company of others who understand what it
is like to have spasmodic torticollis. On the Friday of the symposium
weekend, NSTA organizes an outing to the city’s tourist attractions.
On Saturday night we’ll have a sit down dinner with entertainment.
There will also be a raffle for prizes including two 3 nights
complimentary hotel stay at a future NSTA symposium, two $100 cash,
and three Obusforme high backrests.
Registration for the symposium is only $49.99 (per person) for NSTA
members, $69.99 (per person) for non-members. Spouses, family and
friends accompanying members will also receive the $49.99 rate. For
more information, contact the NSTA at 1-800-487-8385.
The NSTA room rate per night at the Embassy Suites Kansas City Hotel
is $99.00 before August 20, 2009. Remember, it is easier to book a
room in advance and make a cancellation than it is to make a
reservation at the last minute.
