It would seem that there are insurance companies that have been charging an improper accident surcharge to first time auto insurers which is causing legal issues in California. I recently found on a new site that there appears to be a case against State Farm Auto Insurance, 21st Century Auto Insurance, and Farmers Auto Insurance for these charges. I thought this might be of concern to first time auto insurers and have provided the links to check out. State Farm - http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/statefarm2.html 21st Century - http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/century.html Farmers - http://www.lawyersandsettlements.com/case/farmers.html The sites have more information on the case and also offer a legal case evaluation. I found this interesting and thought it might be of some help.
