Copyright of screen captures?

Hi

I'd like to know if I would be breaking any copyright issues if I showed
screen capture movies on the web that demonstrated software? Would I be
breaking copyright law by simply showing people how to use the software in
my movies and would the software company have the right to demand removal of
the movie, even if I note that all information is copyright to the software
developer?

One would hope that since I am promoting their software and not copying the
actual code or idea as such, then I would be safe?

Any advice or direction to appropriate examples or resources would be
appreciated.
