This one is from T.V. and oh how true it is, if you really are looking for as close to McDonald's french fries as you can, the major factor of it is finding the longest potato you can, and cutting them very thin no exceptions on the size of cut, you need to match McDonald's the absolute best you can, it literally nearly delivers from just that about the difference. Fry them up!

Oh and a finer grain salt then table salt.
