I think there is a good reason why sweets invade the breakfast table more often then any other course of meal in a day, that reason is simply put with a saying something "left a bad taste in your mouth." So to start the day don't! Not candy, but cereals, syrups, brunch deserts what not, matter of fact, there goes cake on the first day of all! (one of those embodied hunger cure's not so candy not so not sweet, the balance). Anyway, I just thought I would share the justification to my "Eggs Bacon and Toast Alternative." On with the recipe:
1 Adult serving;
2 whole rectangle "Honey Maid Graham Crackers"
2 Eggo Waffles (Original, Lite or Butter)
2 (to 4) tablespoons of Cool Whip or Whipped cream.
3 (to 6) table spoons of Maple Syrup (Original, Lite or Butter)
2 (to 4) TWIZZLERS Twists Licorice Candy
1 Child serving;
2 perforated rectangles of "Honey Maid Graham Crackers"
1 Eggo Waffles (Original, Lite or Butter)
2 (to 4) teaspoons of Cool Whip or Whipped cream.
2 (to 3) table spoons of Maple Syrup (Original, Lite or Butter)
1 (to 2) TWIZZLERS Twists Licorice Candy
Instructions;
You might already see where this is going. The Cool Whip acts as butter for the toast which is the Graham crackers. The syrup is for the Waffle nothing out of the ordinary. The TWIZZLERS are the bacon (cut in halves for the children's recipe)! Finally it's mostly about the arrangement on the plate to make it look like "Candied Eggs, Bacon and Toast."
Optional candied ice water, just add a Kiddie Cocktail!
