Hello, fellow Learning Specialists! Have any of you heard of this device for management of ADHD in the classroom? A parent sent the link to me, interested as an alternative to medication. I am intrigued, but would like to hear some real-life feedback, if possible.

Thank you! Have a great, long weekend!

Melissa,

So interesting that you emailed about revibtech!  Our lower school just recently ordered one for each grade level to try.  We have not had them long, but I will see if I can get some feedback on them and let you know.

Melissa,
Had a student use last year and we just talked about trying to use it again.  The second grader:got where he  ignored the vibrations. His mom and teacher reported an over saturation. I was not directly involved with it but want to do some experimenting with it since he is now a year older. Will let you know.

I will have to investigate further into the revibe!  We have had students try apps and other options (WOBL and Vibralite) for focus reminders, with the degree of success highly related to the student's degree of "buy-in".  The options above are much less expensive, but since I haven't read up on the science or training of Revibe, they may not be an appropriate comparison.
