Virtual High School Science Courses:
Chemistry, Physics and Biology
Open to Rising 9th-12th graders
$285 per course
Chemistry Summer Workshop:
A two-week skills workshop focused on introducing students to the basic concepts of chemistry (atoms, molecules, subatomic particles, the periodic table, and reactions) as well as some of the key equations and applications necessary to connect these concepts to real life.
- July 19th, 21st, 26th, and 28th from 9:30-11:00am
Physics Summer Workshop:
A two-week skills workshop focused on introducing students to the most integral physics concepts of 1st semester (distance, velocity, acceleration, gravity, and force) through real-life examples. Additionally students will be taught how to use the mathematical tools to start manipulating these concepts before the school year begins.
- July 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th from 9:30-11:00am
Biology Summer Workshop:
A two-week skills workshop focused on introducing students to the basic concepts of biology typically covered in the first semester (definitions of life, ecosystems, organisms, phylogeny, and the basic behaviors that sustain life). Using exciting real life examples of these interactions, students will tie new scientific definitions and equations to the world around them.
- July 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th from 9:30-11:00am

Virtual High School Math Courses:
Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus
Open to Rising 9th-12th graders
$285 per course
Intro to High School Algebra:
A 6 hour Algebra skills workshop for students moving from Pre-Algebra or 8th grade math to high-school Algebra . During the course, students will learn, through pre-teaching, key concepts and mathematical procedures covered in the first semester of Algebra 1 and review content covered at the end of the school year. This is a great course for students who struggled through Pre-Algebra/Math 8 and need to solidify their mathematical knowledge before starting Algebra 1.
- July 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th from 3:30-5:00pm
Bridging the Gap to Geometry:
A 6 hour Geometry skills workshop for students entering Geometry or seeking review. The course will focus on basic geometric concepts (points, lines, and planes) in addition to ideas like area, volume, and angles. This course may also be of interest for students preparing for the ACT who have forgotten some of the concepts previously learned in Geometry.
- July 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th from 3:30-5:00pm
Bridging the Gap to Algebra II:
A 6 hour Algebra II skills workshop for students entering Algebra II or seeking review. The course will focus on preparing students for the difficult concepts in semester 1 of Algebra II as well as on integrating the most important lessons from Algebra I AND Geometry that are necessary to succeed in the course. This is a great course for students who struggled through Algebra 1 and need to solidify their algebraic knowledge base over the summer. Students who need a review of Algebra II for the ACT or SAT will also benefit from the course.
- July 19th, 21st, 26th, 28th from 3:30-5:00PM
Intro to Pre-Calculus
A 6 hour Pre-Cal workshop for students entering Pre-Calculus or seeking review. This course will be a focused skills-review of algebraic concepts from both Algebra I and II that will set students up for success in semester 1 of Pre-Cal. Specific time will be spent on evaluating functions and their qualities like intervals of increase, minima, and maxima, and tying these into previously learned content. This course also can serve as a partial means of preparing for the math sections of the ACT and SAT.
- July 20th, 22nd, 27th, 29th from 3:30-5:00pm
