Orton-Gillingham training and certification

I hope that you are well and enjoying a restful summer. 

We will be working with Reed Charitable Trust to provide OG training and certification for our teachers this year. We expect to have 10 spaces available for any middle Tennessee teachers or learning specialists that would like to receive this training. As a nonprofit, we were able to secure the training at a reduced cost, which we can pass on to you at $500 per person (it was $800 when we did this 18 months ago). The training includes 30 hours of virtual and synchronous coursework. Our teachers will be completing the course work here at Learning Matters, with lunch provided. We would love to have you join us. This training is to be completed during the week of August 28, 8:30-3:30 each day. We would like confirmation no later than August 1, in order to receive all the materials and information. Hi Christie! I may be interested in this mainly because my SMILA training ended during COVID so I was never able to sit for the ALTA test and get certified. Can you tell me what this certification is? O-G tutor? I've always felt I needed more certifications for my credentials but want to make sure they are helpful!
