Dear members of Transition East,

I am part of the organising group for a conference called "Alternatives to Economic Growth" taking place in February 2012 on Saturday 18th, and I would like to invite Transtioners to attend.  You can find more information on http://www.cambridgegreens.org.uk/localsites/cambridge/news/economics.html. Although this is being organised by three members of local green party groups in Cambridgeshire, we are keen to draw in as many people as possible who feel strongly about change and who have different perspectives. We don't want the event to be a talking shop for green party members but a community event that starts to facilitate some real changes. In the morning there will be speakers talking about the issues to get us focussed on the topic and in the afternoon we are having a transition style open space to stimulate further development of those themes which we hope will lead to some creative development of the ideas.

Please could you have look at the information about the event and advertise this event to your members. A full program of speakers and the booking form are available on the web-site (links at bottom of page).
