Hello

It appears you guys have set up a group local to norwich that seems to
fit in well with some of my personal objectives of building a society
that is generally more authentic and sustainable. As a business
student I have come across these social enterprises as an emerging
economy right here in the UK a panacea...hmm perhaps (?) making sense
of the abundant information, groups, funding streams etc is proving
such a challenge for one. Am I alone in wanting to build in more
participation in this neighbour hood ? using this in its broadest
term. there seems to be a wealth of conferences/courses/ events about
SE for established orgs/public services/ charities...but how about
those emerging ideas ? is there a forum or event for individuals in
the planning stages or with ideas that simply need to develop further
interest. If any one else is experiencing these realisations then
please get in touch. It gets a bit tiresome to feel on the brink of
something but every time you share knowledge or an idea people just
look blank

Hi Jon

Good to hear from you!

There is plenty going on here in Norwich. Do take a moment to look at
our website www.transitionnorwich.org/ and sign up to our email
alerts. Our monthly bulletin is due to go out in the next couple of
days, which will give you a whistlestop of what we are up to; check
out our blogs too and the events calendar. Would be good to see you
at events and meetings!

Best wishes

Jane
