How to turn off cursor blink

Hello Everyone,

 

I am using tmux on kitty in windows and connecting to remote machine. Whenever I start a tmux session or am attached to one, my cursor starts blinking. Is there a way to turn this off from .tmux.conf file.

 

My machine info is as follow,

 

CentOS Stream release 9

And my tmux version is tmux 3.2a.

I tried to replicate this with kitty-0.76.0.11 under Windows 10 connecting to a CentOS stream 8 system, the closest thing I had handy.  With kitty default settings the cursor is a blinking underline when I log in, but changes to a blinking block once I load tmux 3.3 (and stays that way after exiting tmux).  Is that different to what you're seeing?
