How to bind to a mouse selection action?

Hello,

Is there a way to bind something to a mouse button release followed by a selection, instead of a mouse release happening due to a mere click.

E.g. I would like to ignore the left mouse release that happens when clicking on a pane. But I would like to bind something (like copy to both primary and clipboard) when releasing the left mouse button followed by a text selection.

Can we distinguish between those 2 when setting tmux binds?

You could maybe check the selection_present format (it might be called something else).
