Paste from paste buffer into copy-mode search field doesn't work

Hi,

I'm running tmux 3.3a.  When I copy text to the buffer; enter copy-mode with C-[, start a search with either / or ?, I can't paste the copied text into the search field.   I can paste from the system keyboard, but not from the tmux buffer.

Is this a bug?
