Fix word and line mouse selection

Hi, I heard about this issue (#682) from a colleague recently (I use the vi shortcuts for selection so hadn't noticed it myself). If there is no one working on it I'd like to give it a try.

Thanks! Just to be clear, the behaviour I'm aiming for is:

When dragging using the mouse, if word/line selection is active, continue selecting additional content in that mode.

When moving the cursor using arrow keys, keep existing single char selection behaviour.

For example, this is how Firefox seems to handle selection.

I suggest you check how xterm works but iirc that is what it does too
