Hello all,
I am running it with nixos and home manager (not unraid :)). Perhaps that's making tmux crazy.
This is what i get after switching the user with `su liquidator` and have no clue what could be happening.

[liquidator@unraid:~]$ tmux
couldn't create directory /run/user/1000/tmux-1001 (Permission denied)

Thanks for your help.

Are any of TMUX, TMPDIR or TMUX_TMPDIR set?

That was quick, thanks.

[liquidator@unraid:~]$ echo $TMUX

[liquidator@unraid:~]$ echo $TMPDIR

[liquidator@unraid:~]$ echo $TMUX_TMPDIR
/run/user/1000

you will need to unset or change TMUX_TMPDIR
