First of all, a huuuge thank you to Nicholas and the other contributors for making this wonderful software that I use almost every day. :)))

I see that 166267c made it possible to use full stops (periods) in session names. I appreciate this because I like to use a domain name as a session name when working on a website project.

I'm now able to create a session containing a full stop:

$ tmux new-session -s example.com

After detaching, I'm unable to reattach directly:

$ tmux attach-session -t example.com
can't find pane: com

As a workaround, I attach to a different session and cycle through the sessions until I reach the troublesome one.

My uninformed assessment is that session names are now allowed to contain full stops but that the attach-session subcommand treats them specially. Is there some way to include a literal full stop in this context?
