Hi,

I've got some pretty enormous tmux buffers ( histories) and I used to be able to incrementaly search backward for a string. Now  ( with tmux 2.6 ) it searches backwards but also lists how many "strings' it has found int he entire history.

I really don't need that feature as it slows down tmux considerably.

Anyway that I can disable this ? Incremental search back is what I want in emacs-copy mode.

Thanks,

-Jimi

Change binding to search-backward instead of search-backward-incremental.

Without -i of course, like the copy-mode-vi bindings.

Is there a way to get tmux to stop keeping track of the number of results ?

It seems to be slower because of this ( this is anecdotal of course ).

Thanks
