Naming the windows

Hi All,

Tmux version : 2.6

Whenever I name a window using "Prefix ,  "  and name it, after i switch the windows back and forth, the name resets to original.

Any solution ? Anything to be done in tmux.conf ?

1) I have created windows win1, win2, win3 in a tmux session

2) I rename the windows as : W1, W2, W3 respectively.

3) Current window is W1.

4) I switch to W2, W3 and back to W1 repeatedly.

5) At one point of time, the window names reverts to : win1, win2, win3. I want them to be W1, W2, W3

Do you mean you called them win1,win2,win3 when you created them, or left them with the default names?
