Hello everyone!
There's a tool we're trying to use, log-user-sessions.
It basically creates a new pts, attaches the child process to it and proxies everything both ways while simultaneously logging to a file.
But there is an issue there: https://github.com/open-ch/log-user-session/issues/16
I'm not too deep on my terminal understanding so I'm asking for your help here. Also I think tmux must have solved a similar problem at some point, I imagine tmux's proxying to be perfect.

Could you show me some pointers as to what might be happening there?

Regards,
  Ilia.

I don't know, there is nothing obvious, probably it is missing something around SIGWINCH or the pty setup. I'll try it when I am home next week if I have time.

I would be cautious about using this program as root however since it is very cavalier about checking for malloc/strdup failure.
