Technology lab update 05nov2007

Hello all,

Monday 05nov2007 930pm:

I just had a conversation with Bill Lloyd and his students from Prince Georges Community College(pgcc).

They want to meet at TMS on thursday 08Nov2007 from 630 to 930pm.

They will work on the wires in the lab and get the lab up to safety code.

They will also work on the machines (from your offices and classrooms) that need updated operating systems and programs.

Please leave your machines(names attached) and programs you wish installed in the tech lab.

We will work on them and have them ready for you to use on friday 09nov2007.

Any work not finished on Thursday 8nov2007 will be finished on Monday 12nov2007( 630pm to 930pm).

This sounds fantastic.  Will Thursdays schedule conflict at all with The Mitchellville Community School of the Arts’ programming?  Will there be any problems with the students from PGCC entering classrooms?

Thank you so much for sticking with this and making this finally happen.

 

Like Lisa, my concern is whether Mr. Lloyd and his students will be able to accomplish much on Thursday since the classrooms will likely be occupied by MCSA. They don't have classes on Mondays, but do on Thursdays during the hours proposed by Mr. Lloyd.  He may be limited to the unoccupied classrooms on Thursday, but access to the hallways should not be a problem.   Maybe Mr. Lloyd will be able to finish in the classrooms on the following Monday.

 

We will need to arrange access to the school on Monday evening; and to lock up at 9:30 or 10:00 on Monday and/or Thursday.
