Dear Sir,

With regard to the doctors sponsored in 2025, we believe the investment was worthwhile and delivered significant value growth through sustained engagement and close follow-up after sponsorship.

The impact of the program is reflected in our business performance, with a 19% growth in H2 2025 compared to H1 2025, followed by a further 31% growth in H1 2026 versus H1 2025, despite June 2026 sales not yet being included. These results demonstrate the positive influence of strengthened doctor relationships, increased product advocacy, and improved access to key institutions.

The key outcomes achieved include:

1. Improved Doctor Engagement and Rapport
We strengthened relationships with several doctors who had previously shown limited interest in our visits. Following the sponsorship, these doctors became more receptive to our detailing sessions and demonstrated increased interest in our products.

2. Inclusion of Chronic Care Products in Major Hospitals
Through engagement with sponsored doctors, our chronic care products saw increased recommendation and prescription uptake. This facilitated the inclusion and growth of key brands such as Glympa, Linita, Emjard, Glitamet, and Bizolol in major institutions including Aga Khan Hospital, The Nairobi Hospital, Karen Hospital, Avenue Hospital, Neema Uhai, Jalaram, Nairobi South Hospital, MP Shah Hospital, The Coptic Hospital and Outspan Hospital.

3. Expansion into Major Distributors
Increased prescription support from sponsored doctors generated demand for our products, enabling successful listing and stocking by major distributors. This has significantly contributed to the growth of our chronic care portfolio.

Regarding changes in the sponsorship list for 2026, the reasons are as follows:

  1. Several doctors sponsored under KDSG 2025 requested sponsorship through KAP 2026 instead.
  2. Some doctors previously sponsored under KDSG 2025 opted for sponsorship through KCS.
  3. A number of doctors chose to attend international conferences rather than KDSG.
  4. We facilitated alternative local engagement arrangements for doctors who preferred personalized support instead of conference sponsorship.
  5. We also conducted a successful game drive engagement, which received excellent feedback, with some doctors expressing a preference for such experiential engagements over traditional conference sponsorship.

Overall, the 2025 sponsorship program delivered measurable returns through strengthened doctor engagement, increased product adoption, and expanded market access. The positive outcomes achieved demonstrate the value of the investment and the effectiveness of our post-sponsorship follow-up efforts.

The proposed adjustments to the 2026 sponsorship list have been made in response to the evolving preferences, practice patterns, and engagement needs of our key stakeholders. Additionally, a brief summary has been incorporated into the 2025 sponsorship report, highlighting each doctor's current level of brand support together with an analysis of their unit sales performance.

With sincere regards,

Mohammad Shahjahan

Dear Shahjahan,

I wish to have the report of last year KDSG sponsorship outcome.

Would you please make a report on the same? Who were the doctors whom we sponsored last year and the business outcome from those doctors after the sponsorship.

Also, what are the changes of the list of doctors this year and justifications for the change (if any).

Regards,

Aminul

Dear Sir,

The Kenya Diabetes Study Group (KDSG) will host its Annual Scientific Conference in Naivasha from 17th to 20th June 2026. KDSG is a professional body under the Kenya Association of Physicians, bringing together leading specialists including Physicians, Endocrinologists, Cardiologists, Diabetologists, and Nephrologists to promote scientific exchange, professional development, and advancements in diabetes care.

As part of our strategy to strengthen our Chronic Care portfolio, we have established a strong network of consultant prescribers supporting key brands such as Glympa, Glitamet, Emjard, Bizolol, Linita, and Telmilok. These brands continue to demonstrate encouraging growth, driven largely by increasing consultant engagement and support. Given the conference's specialized focus on diabetes management and related chronic conditions, it presents a valuable platform to further strengthen our brand presence and prescriber relationships.

Our current sales performance remains positive, with encouraging growth compared to previous years. Following a strong Q1 performance and a promising outlook for the remaining quarters, we have set ambitious targets for 2026. Participation in this conference is expected to further accelerate portfolio growth and contribute significantly toward achieving our business objectives.

Key Objectives of Sponsorship and Conference Participation:

  • Strengthen relationships with key consultant prescribers driving Chronic Care sales.
  • Improve prescription retention and increase share of prescriptions across targeted brands.
  • Enhance brand visibility through conference engagement and exhibition activities.
  • Generate a positive uplift in prescriptions during H2 and support sustained portfolio growth.

Following an internal evaluation, we have identified 61 high-value consultant doctors/Clinicians across key territories who make significant contributions to our prescription base. We therefore propose providing partial sponsorship support (conference registration and/or transport facilitation) to enable their participation in the conference.

We believe this investment will reinforce our strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, strengthen brand advocacy, and deliver measurable returns through enhanced prescription generation and long-term portfolio growth.
