f^(-1) in
fonksiyon olduğunun söylendiğini düşünerek
"Soru hatalı" diyorsunuz sanıyorum.
Ama; 
öyle bir iddia yok.
Buna göre;
hata da yok.

x^2 -1 = 8 ve x < 1 ----> x = -3

f^(-1) bağıntısında
f^(-1)(8) = -3 olur.
