2. - RUMOR: RUMOR: APPLE READY TO OFFER IPHONE UDID CODE REPLACEMENT
Apple is apparently ready to give iOS app developers an alternative to the Unique Device Identifier, or UDID, codes as a tool for legitimately keeping track of user’s iPhones. Apple has begun hanging banners at the Moscone West Convention Center highlighting the unreleased iOS 6 as a topic at next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference. Facebook jumped into the App Store game on Friday with the launch of its new App Center. Apple has agreed to pay a $2.25 million settlement in what Australian courts saw as false advertising over using the term “4G” to describe the third generation iPad’s capabilities. 16. - NEWS: APPLE SEEKS BAN ON SAMSUNG GALAXY S III SMARTPHONE
Apple is seeking a ban on Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone before the device gets introduced in the U.S. later in June.
