i need to know something , should i wait for the for them to activate my
line or call them to activate

No, the number on the CD. This number is still operational although I am trying
my very best to close it.
These are real telecom technicians who are not trained and chosen to be the
nicest and tolerant to
the complaining public. Their job as told to them by their superiors is just to
activate your Streamyx
account.

i tried calling but no body ever answered today during working hours about
2.30pm
where they go ,
but the procedure is change ar , bcos i no need to call them , they call me

Yes, but they are not supposed to abandon those help lines so quickly.
We are supposed to give TMNET time to replace those numbers with
their own support people.

Why do you need to call them?
Why didn't you answer them thoroughly when they called?
Was it because you were not ready?
If you were not ready, then give them time to call you back.

in the cd they ask me to call them and there is not stated only working days
????
so i tried selangor barat and pj but nobody answered ,
i need to call them bcos yesterday they said today 2 pm can use liao but i
tried still cannot , so i called the no. they gave me when i collect my cd ,
they said it will be activated around 5 pm , so now i understand , pls
change the instructions in the cd lar ,

My internal emails must have been very persuasive that they don't bother to wait
for instructions from the top anymore. For Kota Kinabalu ICC, they will still
answer calls,

for the installation is ok but not enough instructions like how long to wait
and all those ,
maybe i am not that lucky because i am in the new procedure ,
and about the modem thing , only my modem dialler can dial not xp dialler or
the self install cd dialler

They can't do the line activation. Only account activation.

Yes. I have seen all the numbers all over Malaysia. Maybe I should try.

1) This could be modem specific problem, or

2) it could be the restriction on just one
account per session in force. The moment your modem is already connected
using
your streamyx account, you can't dial in using other dialers any more.

In Sabah, I still can login twice.

Have you tried installing any modem driver?
