I think it is probably mourning the death of broaband internet service
in Malaysia. We had high hopes of this service but due to gross
incompetence and a 'tidak apa' attitude, it is now totally dead and
gone. Malaysia boleh!

PS: I cannot get anyhing more than 7 or 8 kbps on Streamyx at the
moment. I have a claimed 512 kpbs connection - not worth paying RM 66
a month at all!

Hardly any worth alternative ... so we're stuck with this for quite some
time.

Malaysia Boleh !!!!! But no worries.... we will have High Speed
Broadband soon..... we should be experiencing speeds about 10% faster
than what we get now if we pay 100% more.

If you house is near North-South highway.
Than you will be able to get higher speed.
Why? Because you are nearer to the high speed trunk cable that lay along
the North-South highway.

(Just guessing.....)
