We would like to take this opportunity to introduce Sri Vasavi CA Charitable Trust -VCAT.
VCAT was formed on 12th March 2008 by CA philanthropists to serve the society in the areas of Education, Healthcare, employment including financial assistance and other activities which are beneficial to the society at large. VCAT is registered under 12A of the Income Tax Act 1961 and has the approval under section 80G of Income Tax Act.
Mission:
To establish and run hostel facility for the economically poor.
To rehabilitate the unemployed by providing an opportunity to become self employed.
To provide medical relief to the needy.
To provide financial aid to the needy students for their higher education.
To award scholarship, merit prizes and grant financial aid to deserving meritorious students.
Activities:
VCAT has initiated a dream project “VIDHYA DHARE” to support students from underprivileged / economically weaker section studying in High School (Standard 8 to 10).
Education & Employment: VCAT has distributed Sewing machines to the needy women to empower to achieve financial sustainability. Awarded scholarships and financial aid to meritorious and deserving students for their higher education.
Technical Wing of VCAT is conducting Workshops & Seminars regularly and encourages members to contribute articles and write-ups for the benefit of members at large.
